Yes, we've been on a number of occassions.
We've held a few socials there in the past.
The rooms are very nice with the exception of the smallest room which is really 'pokey'.
Standards are 'high' (but not as high as when it first opened).
Food is OK but go into town to eat - far cheaper and better can be found.
Recommends - The Spotted Cow which is excellent)
We found the owner to be a bit hit & miss at times - one miunte very accomodating, next a Basil Fawlty.
We give it 8/10 on a good day - 5/10 on a bad.
