Live! - Gig | Swinging Heaven

ooohh errrr, I decided to pop my head round the corner from the cafe. I cant stay long because I get nervy when outside my comfortable cafe (do they call that my comfort zone??) confused

ah, the reason why I am here.
Nope , not looking for a date or anything like that.
Just a question. Just recently I have been listening to a band called Live, and found them just incredible.
For those that are unaware of the band, web site attached:

I noticed that they will be on tour next month, some dates are sold out, but Birmingham is still available. surprised

Not wanting to be "Billy no mates" I wondered if there was anybody else going to this gig? btw - its on the 13th June at Birmingham Acadamy. dunno

ok - thats it - gotta rush back to the cafe now, its a bit scary out here ............ redface

I remember them from my teenage yrs (now sadly many moons ago).
I got my mates hooked on one of their albums, i think it was called 'throwing copper' or something like that. I had a thing for the drummer...mmm at the time he oozed sex appeal but having looked at the link you have posted, time has taken its toll on him.
Its good to know they are still around though.

Live are a blast from the past. I think their song 'Lightning Crashes' is fantastic. Thought they had died or something until I saw their advert in Kerrang! Would go but im skint and live in Preston. Good luck

i saw Live by accident once... i think that was back in the *throwing copper* days...
well... i say accident.. i didnt know who they were, or even that they were playing. They were supporting Frank Black, at the Astoria I think it was. Good gig all round!
I did actually buy a t-shirt of thiers by mistake! Had a buxom lady on it,.. very appealing... thought it may have been an image of the kind of lady whom might appeal to Frank himself, ergo: thought it was a FB t-shirt!
of course.. I was very, vverryyy drunk at the time.

Live really not my cup of tea but if any one fancies any other gigs but has no one to go with please post it somewhere as I'm always up for a gig but all my gig going buddies have become very boring recently and deserted me for B&Q.
