If you haven't had a reply to this, there are plenty of hotels in Liverpool from the budget end such as IBIS or Premier Travel Inn in the city centre to the more expensive like The Hard Day's Night, The Hilton and Marriot to The Malmaison. All of those are in the city centre and while I don't know where this event is taking place, assuming it's the city centre almost any hotel is easy walking distance or a short taxi ride away.

as per Social and Munch Guidelines the venue won't be revealed to people until much nearer the date, and then only those on the list.
however it's customary to advise people of hotels near the venue, without actually revealing the venue, in advance.
we keep asking, but to date no response

Ah, I see. This will be the first social I have been too and I hadn't actually read up the rules so to speak. well, here's hoping the organisers get in touch with you asap to let you know. Hope to catch up with you on the night.

Subject to work commitments we'd like to come please.
The thing about socials / munches and hotel lists is that the organisers usually nominate a couple of hotels near the venue, with different price brackets, that way the party goers can book into the same hotels. That means play after the event, back at the hotel is easy to sort out.

I currently have 126 persons on the list and need to increase this number significntly in order for the event to take place, I wold be very grateful if all those certain they are attending would let me know.
