London clubs

Does any one ere wish to introduce us to a london club, we were looking at cockatoo, and thought it might be allright if we knew people to start with, any other better suggestions, probably in a week to two weeks time?

hey, we're a Belgian couple going to london next year, we're interested in any experiences (good/bad) you've had? We know the clubs in Belgium/Holland but would like to visit a club in London also (since we're there..)..

Depending where you are in London and if you have a car......there are a couple of clubs you could go to,we normally go to one over near Heathrow.

Well, we'll be near Covent Garden, we won't have a car, but using a taxi should be no problem.. Any real-life experiences are always welcome :-) That way it would be much easier to make a choice..
We regularly go to fun4two, but we've done a few others also in Europe :-)

We went to a wonderful place last Friday. As they're still not listed in the Clubs & Parties section, I'll give em me own little promotion here lol

- bluddy lovely place, not in the centre of London tho, it's near Heathrow. It's like a big bungalow, several playrooms and a swimming pool to die for. It's an outdoor pool, but they've covered it with what looks like a giant bubble :shock: Well last week, at about -800 outside, was a bit nippy to say the least :shock: The pool was amazing, like a bath, but where it was covered, it was completely steamed up, couldn't see further than about 10ft away .............. oh it was just lovely :bounce:
So I would reccommend that place :happy: The people were all lovely, the guests were all very friendly, it's done out beautifully and is spotless :happy:
Oh and they've also got a pretty big cinema room with loads of leather sofas in too :twisted:

I'm with Missy here.....this is the club to visit!...... :thumbup:
We try to go as often as we can.......but when we are up for travelling we go to Xstasia in the midlands!

But, what does the "bring-your-own-bottle" mean on the website? (we're only familiar with clubs in France and Belgium/Netherlands)

It means that the club is not licenced to SELL alcohol (i.e. you can drink alcohol at the premises but you can't buy it)...so if you want to mix alcohol and sex (not such a good idea for the men as it is for the ladies I suspect) then go to the supermarket, buy what you want to drink and take it to the club with you. The club should then keep it safe and you can be poured a drink whenever you need one.

Had a look at the web site looks really nice ! We will have to go and party there. How far is the travel lodge in Staines from the club? If we go we will have to stay over and probably make a weekend of it.

used 2 go to club raquels a lot but dave is getting lots of gigs at weekends so not been much this year .

Been 2 a few as although now in NW i was in london 4 3 yrs.
There are loads and cockatoos is ok but a little small, try raquels which is bigger but still limited rms. The best 1 i can recommend is Clublick which is over in the east end.

Its not that far - a mini-cab ride but thats about it - about 3 miles.

we have heard a bit about this club just lately,but didnt know where it was,

went last night, fab club must be the best we have visited in the uk....
great venue, immaculately presented, very helpfull hosts and a nice group of guests.
will be back there again for sure!! lol
