Well Ive just mentioned this to Tabbi in the chatroom and she thought it would be fun....so....Ive not really looked into this or thought much about it, but if there are any members who would like to meet up for drinks and ice skating or perhaps ice skating then drinking would be better confused

, pop your name down. lol

There will be an outdoor ice rink at a central london location for a short period over Christmas.
This is not a munch, but a private gathering of people i know or are known to myself, and to secure a level of safety to myself and friends, I must ask that you have been a member since the end of September 2005, be a regular poster and/or well known in the chatroom.

I love Ice Skating.....takes me back to my youth at Altrincham Ice Rink.... smile

Hi - If myself and Bassman are about for the date you arrange this for, then we will come along. I don't ice skate so will just watch wink

- but can force myself to join in the drinks afterwards (just to be sociable of course)

Skating terrifies me :shock: Always scared i will fall over and someone will skate along and chop off my outstretched I need to see someone about this?

Mmmm London at christmas.... I'll have a word with my better half and see what he thinks to giving the "Sarf" a visit around that time! smile

I'm rubbish at skating so if we do manage to organsie something between us then I'll at least provide comedy value! lol

I know 5year olds that skate better than I do! redface

I love iceskating and depending on the date and time etc could persuade Mr Olive to bring me along.
Plus of course you will need there as a first aider for all those bumped bums and sawn off fingers :shock: :shock:

Ok dates currently being looked at are 26th November, 3rd Dec and 10th Dec. I know these dates clash with other things, but hey, i cant move the Christmas Skating Rink to be arranged for another month! lol
