Hi all we are looking to go to our first club meet next month as a little treat for my birthday. Dani and I were wondering if anyone could recommend anywhere in the Somerset/Bristol area that would be a nice relaxed and hopefully successful evening.

I suggest you might enjoy a trip to the XTAsia social.
Lots of friendly folk and worth an overnighter at the premier next door and no pressure or obligation.

Try Chameleons the one in B'ham just off M6 is the best and open daily from 11am. Newport one is probably closer to you but only open Fri & Sat nights!

Hiya,there is a venue closer to you in Totnes,Devon it's called secrets, we went in feb with some friends. It only happens once a month and there are about 80-100 couples there. The people who run it are really nice and will let you stay over if you ask. Hope this helps, have fun
I agree with the suggestion that you travel to West Brom and stay at the Premier Inn for the Swinging Heaven Social. If your newbies to the club scene it's a no pressure night, you can wear what you wish from a dress to ur most daring undies or less and you'll meet loads of people. There's plenty going on that you'll be able to see and join in with if you choose, but it is a very good night to try things out. Xtasia is a few minutes off Junction 1 or J2 of M5, it really would be well worth your drive. If you don't wish to stay the night well work on leaving somewhere between and , as while there are plenty around past that point, many will have left by then.
The office in Bristol, gets mixed reviews
Romeos in Bristol, almost brand new though all the reviews so far are good.
The Lodge in Gloucester. Almost all superb reviews seems to be the new in place to go at the moment.
Dont be told you have to go ooop norf just to get to a club.
