Unfortunately, with you only just joining in the last couple of weeks and only just joining the forum, I can only offer you an invite if a regular on SH can vouch for you. This is purely for the security of the munch and the members attending.
If no-one can vouch for you, stick around and keep posting and get to know people and I'm sure you will get an invite to one of the upcoming munches/parties. There are plenty coming up in the next few months. Plus, the munch isn't until November, so I'll review at the beginning of October and definitely let you know with plenty of time to book a hotel.

I understand your caution even if it is a little frustrating. I can't get invited to a munch unless someone verifies me but I can't get verified untill I've been to a munch, catch 22 lol. Most of the folk in the room are understandably reluctant to verify someone they have not met. Your suggestion of meeting for a coffee is probably my best bet so if you don't mind I would be happy to meet the next time you are in Nottingham.

Sorry to have to do this to you m8, But i'm going to have to pull out of this one. It's only recently i've realised what a total munch/ party slut i've become of late, and to the xeclusion of a whole heap of things like family. My weekends are becoming rarer and rarer, and therefore i need to use the few i have catching up with family.
Therefore - the yorks munch is going to be my last official munch until december, when hopefully the break will have re-awakened my excitement of munches, and given my mind and body a chance to de-stress and catch up with me.
Once again -- sorry to drop this on you!
