Hi All
As some of you regulars may already know, my birthday is in November, so I’m holding a party to celebrate my 40th birthday (again) on 17th November. It will be at a bar near me in the Chesterfield area.
It will NOT be a munch as there will be a few non-members of the site who are close friends attending.
I held my last 40th on 18th November last year at a venue and then at my house and it went really well.
I’ve looked through the invite list and there were 110 people turned up, then 95 at my house after, so you can imagine it was a little cramped in a small 2-bedroomed semi……………..lol
I’ve hired somewhere again this time so that we can get more people in. Hopefully make it the biggest 40th birthday party anyone “non-famous” has ever held………lol
There will be food laid on and a disco.
It will cost nothing to come, but I will be passing a hat round for contributions for the food and hire of the bar. The contribution will be totally voluntary and no-one need feel pressured to put anything in if they don't want to.
There is no restriction on who can come, whether you be a single male, single female or a couple, but you MUST be a regular user of the forum or chatroom.
The cut-off date for being invited will be October 17th 2007,(a month before the party date) so if you have joined after that date, unless a known member can vouch for you, then I’m afraid that this time I won’t be able to put you on the invite list.
There is quite a while before the party, so anyone who hasn’t used the forums much, get posting and you’ll stand a chance of getting on the list.

LOL This one will be my 5th, BUT I had my first one in the July that I was 39 in the November and then another on my 39th birthday, and then it seemed that all my parties turned into 40th birthday parties :lol: , so I guess one more won't make a difference eh?

Regarding the camping/hotel.........you're welcome to camp on my back garden, but if you'd like some "creature comforts" I'll send you the hotel list. Let me know either way please.

2 if hes in country one if not and can we book a bit of garden or floor sepends on weather will a 6 man tent fit in the garden (only kidding) wee would love an invite

More than welcome, but you might have to just kip in the gazebo if your tent's too big for the garden. :twisted: :twisted:
