Think of it this way. you see two adverts for cars for sale.
First one says
Car for sale Â£15,000. Available now (Bit like your advert)
Second one says

Which advert gets the most interest??
If you don't put the effort in to 'sell' yourself, people just move on to the next post/advert where someone has made more of an effort.
