perhaps you should, before attempting one of your own because you are way off the mark so far. Credit where its due for attempting it, but I'd say leave the chatroom- thinking behind if you wanna get this off the ground. There are 'socials' and there are socials wink

hun, no need to cancel this if you really want to organise something - but please, ask for help with it.
Aside from all the petty issues we nasty regulars have pointed out , myprimary concern is that as the organiser of this social you are in effect taking on the responsibility of ensuring everyone who attend's safety & security.
Swinging, and the social side of this lifestyle is not exclusive to age etc, and you will find that the best socials are the one's that do have that mix of older/ younger and everything in between age groups. People who value the social aspect will travel - and they do. From Edinburgh to Cornwall, people will travel if they wish to.
I'm sorry if you've been 'put off', but IMO there are ways that these things are done, if they are to be done 'properly'. No one wants to see you cancel this - and if you want it, people will be happy to help you out.

Many thanks for your concerns, however, I am unable to organise this social due to a certain member of this site currently attempting to make my life as miserable as possible...With the chance that they will gatecrash, I am not prepared to take the risk of attempting to organise something that could be ruined by one person.
As I previously said...many apologies to everyone...I am sure there are many other midlands based socials to be enjoyed...

if anyone is causing you a problem - personally and through to the extent of gatecrashing socials ( :shock: evil

) report it and let's get it sorted.
as an aside, venue locations should be kept secret until literally a couple of days before the event, and the rules are that no one passes on that info but the organiser (you) so its unlikley that this person would know about your social in terms of actually being able to turn up......
If the social is in a private room or seperate area to vanillas, you would have a 'door team' and believe me, if someones name aint on your guestlist, they aint coming in! lol

see what I mean about the way things are done? Oh , and PM a mod, with evidence if you've got it wink
