Try having a natter in the chat rooms. I know how easy it is to get impatient, it's all so exciting as a newbie and you just want to get going BUT it's worth taking your time and observing for a bit rather than rushing in and regretting it afterwards. When I joined (only a month ago), I placed the most awful advert.. got chatting, learned a few things and then deleted it.
