Try having some patience.
Some people are on this site for months before they meet anyone and you're expecting to do it within 24 hours of joining confused

What times the last Ferry across on a sunday night, I'm down for the Eastleigh festival?
Or could get across on the MOnday morning if none of you are working.

I don't know if I fit what you (and Oliveoyl) are looking for but I am a 25 yo male living in Portsmouth and while I could stand to lose a few pounds (about 78kg for about 1m68) I don't consider myself fat, just well fed smile

You also didn't say if you only looked for couples or if you also look for singles, male or female so if you are not interested in single males then it puts me out of the race right there.

Ive been sat here for the last hour doing some sums.
Unfortunately even taking into account how much I want to get across to see you, there is no way I can arrive at Southampton Central at 2333 and still board the 2340 fast ferry :cry:
This makes the next available crossing the 0100 arrriving at West Cowes at 0155
I'm not sure if you will even still be up then, but even more horrific is the thought of what time I would get back to my B&B in Southampton bearing in mind it's an hour back :cry: I've just checked it, 0330 crossing eta B&B 0500, breakfast at 0900 at latest = 4 hours sleep.
If only I was less broke I would have come down the day before or stayed for monday evening as well. There's still the option of Monday morning if you are about wink

Depressingly I was in IOW last year when down for the Eastleigh Festival but couldn't find much to do so went back to the mainland.
There is always next years festival. :wink:
