Norfolk/Suffolk Party!

Hi all, I have had a word with a landlord who maybe able to put a private party on in his function room in Norfolk! Just wondered how many people would be interested? (Never organised anything like this???? Please let me know if interested???? (please note landlord, staff, dj not part of the scene!) biggrin

Nothing has been sorted, just seeing the responce, it has a large function room, could accomodate arund 150 people!!!!! I would check with all concerned to make sure all ok!

Well the venue would be ok with it, but very poor responce from here!! Never mind, a missed opportunity I guess!!!!

Not a missed opportunity, but what have you done to raise awareness of this party? What have you done to get yourself known on the forums?
People will travel to these events from all over the country but before they do that, they want some reasurance that the person arranging it is genuine and wont let them down. Therefore you need to put in some effort to get yourself known. You have only done three posts and all of them have been on this thread.
Also, your description of the event was very vague. Was it a social for anyone off the site, was there any restrictions on numbers. As I said, you have not given any information.
I must congratulate you for thinking of doing this, and the above is not a criticsm, I just think you are trying to run before you have learned to walk. Slow down a little and think things through, speak to one of the other social event organisers and ask them for some advice and then take a bit of time to get to know people and let them get to know you. Im sure that if you do all this then the party/social would have taken off. lol

You might want to look at attending a social or a munch so you can see what goes into the planning and how they're run.
