i would strongly suggest booking it now even if you have to cancel it, newcastle is an absolute pig for getting a hotel, took me 3 days of searching to get one for Fabios birthday

Might be worth looking at Travelodge, some £15 rooms around that date. Even if its a taxi ride away, might workout cheaper

Oh poo, I'm always the last to do these things. Been meaning to put my name on the list for ages, but had to sort where I was for Xmas. Sorted accommodation, and sorted my party outfit, and even have plastic mistletoe so I can collect on all of my Xmas kisses. Please sir, can I come? Look peeps the list is now closed
will put a reserve list up but after convos we had yesterday some people have brought it to our attention that they were going to tell other s not on list the venue .we have to say do not tell others the meet up place or times please
