Hi all ,
Its great to see this munch taking place, i personally would like to thank Fabio for their efforts in putting this meet together. I would be more than happy to get involved in the preparation etc so feel free to let me know if (as a local lad!!) there is anything i can do at all to help.
i look forward to meeting all local and not so local members at this munch- Im confident it will be a great success as you couldnt wish to meet a friendlier bunch of people than us geordies so will be worth travelling to....

after loads of badgering... i have managed to get a list of major hotels in newcastle city centre.... if these are too much for you i hope to have a list of B&B's just outside the city centre available when i am off work on friday.... anyone who is going to need these lists let me know, and i will see if i can get any discounts......

Oh God, what a frantic 48 hrs it has been for me................
the venue that i had in central newcastle has fallen thru (boo hiss! mad

:x :x something about a big high paying wedding reception...)
so i have been franticly looking for a new venue and found one biggrin

:D :D ....
the new venue will be in gateshead (just across the river from newcastle) and still close enough that if anyone have already got a room in newcastle it is not that far to get there....
i have adjusted my hotel and B&B lists accordingly..... it should fingers crossed be cheaper for you all to find rooms as well.....
the venue is actually cheaper for me to hire as well.... which also means that more of the money that we raise will go to charity (i have decided that the money will be split between Marie Curie and Imperial Cancer Research)
sorry if i have not been around much in the last few days..... hopefully you'll now know why i have been a stressed bunny......

Hi fabio and well done on organising it. I know how hard it is trying to keep an eye on everything. (Unless I was doing something wrong when I organised the motel munch..........which I probably did........lol)
I'd love to come and so far 9th October is looking good,BUT..............and here comes the begging bit..........lol
I am a single parent and can't usually afford hotels etc., so if anyone in Newcastle or surrounding areas has a sofa spare for the night then I'd be VERY grateful.
Anyway, here's looking forward to it in hope.................lol

I remember a NE munch proposal coming up not that long ago, but it fissled out. It is great to see that one is definitely going ahead!

Someone at the NW Munch told me that I'd be ok to stay over at theirs, so put me down as a definite please.
She also told me that she would hold an after-munch party at hers too. So if you can let me know who'd be interested and some numbers of a few mini-bus companies I'd be very grateful. She does live a little way out of Gateshead, but if everyone is willing to chip in with the mini-bus then it shouldn't be much more than a couple of quid each.
And I know the young lady in person, and know that the after munch party will definitely be great.
It'll be good to meet you all and to the ones that already know me......I PROMISE to behave myself.........lol
If you need a hand with anything I'll be glad to help out, so just give me a shout if you need any help fabio M8

an after munch party sounds great - still not sure if my other half will be back by then (he's working away sad

) but I'm definately attending and hope the gramps will be having the kids which would mean I could attend a party too.
