North East (Newcastle) Munch Discussion

Hey all
Just thought i would throw up the idea of another Newcastle Munch, either at a private venue or a night on the town as a group after a meet up/gathering.
Anyone interested? please reply here, maybe it might become a sticky and might happen if theres enough interest!

Hi Shy_Geordie_Lad, nice to hear from you. wave

I'm always keen to attend a Munch, especially one so local. However many people are cautious about attending events that are organised by people who are not particularly well known on the Forum (no disrespect to you of course).
Also there is a plan to organise some sort of social or munch event on Teeside around that time, although I haven't heard anything on that for a while. So it might be better to hang on a bit & see what happens.
Other people may wish to jump in here if they know anymore about what is happening in this area....

There seems to be plans for a munch in Manchester in April and while it is not set in stone yet, looks like 9th may be the date of it. Therefore any Newcastle or Teeside munch possibly should avoid this date.

Probably best to check in Swinging heaven diary?
Should you decide to go ahead with a Munch ..As there is quite a few munches & parties on from jan till july

a lot of you know that i was looking at the feasibility of holding another north east munch in april... but decided not to at this moment in time as the diary is full to overflowing... biggrin

the biggest thing i was also trying not to do is to step on peoples' toes who have already gone to the trouble of organising...
i would fully support one... although if you can find a date that isn't going to congest things i haven't seen it...

Yes there is a Diary in the Cafe!! But as Fabio says he is organising a Munch in Newcastle Later on in the year...

Only because I now respect how hard the organising of a Munch is !! And trying to fit it in with other Munches!!
Very time consuming as you well know :P and a little banghead

its great that iv had so many people PMing me saying theyd be up for it, thank you all who have showed interest. :P :P
As its been pointed out this 1/2 of the year seems to be jam packed full of goodies, so perhaps itd be best waiting till after june/julyish, and Fabio has promised something big so i think itd be best to wait for his treat then to cause more congestion now!
i hope everyone has a excellent SH half to this year, and if theres any free places to any other munchs before the north east one, id love to be able to attend any to personally meet you all lol
