That was a fabulous social. Totally worth the drive.
I'm exhausted, my eyes won't focus and I can't remember where I parked the car (outisde my house I hope) so it must have been good.
Thanks to all you wondeful people who organised it, including the fact that the venue served food - you saved at least 4 lives last night biggrin

And, like others have said, it was great to put faces (and other bits :thrilled: ) to names at last. I'm keeping my name tag - I think I may start a social scrap book with tags, location reviews and photos. Well, maybe not the photos. :evil2:

I'll repeat the thanks of many to Robert & Martin for organising this bash...
it was great to see some faces.. and I felt very welcomed by those that spoke...
I have to admit that Im not the most social of creatures in those circumstances, and I was a little under the weather... but rest assured, I for one had a lovely time.

May I add my thanks - to everyone for making the Social such a friendly and welcoming event, but especially to Robert and Martin for all the organisation (arranging the reduced admission so that we could all go on the club afterwards was a great idea). biggrin

I'm soooo annoyed about saturday mad

I was held up at work, so was going to be late anyway, but got my train ticket and got to Liverpool street to find that because someone had jumped in front of a train, the trains to Ponders End were being cancelled all over the place, so I couldn't get there sad

I was really looking forward to this aswell

I started the night in the usual way saying to Bassman " We are not having a late night cos we have to be up at 7am tomorrow"! blah blah blah. So instead of a late night - we sort of had an early morning!!! getting home at 4am or some silly time redface

Anyway - it was a great night so thanks for organising this. For everyone else, I know I rabbit on and on when I have had a glass of wine (or 2) so aplogise if I bent anyones ear too much

Well what can i say an 8 out of 10 on teh first time out from the South London Social Queen, would have taken that before the night started.
Question is how do we go one or 2 better to get to the magic 10, not sure that can be acheived, but we might as well give it a go.
next of will most prob be sometime in Oct orn Nov i recon, unless anyone else get in first If i am in my house by then maybe a firework or holloween party. no promise's though.

and also a BIG thank you thank you to twos for heading the convoy of cars and making sure we all reached the club.
where I also had a real good time, cant wait for the next meet, I will also be in spain but not until september.

Oh but we do have internet in the sticks of Athens, you know. It's just that it is so expensive to use and so slow but I am looking into getting broadband. Webcam is useless on narrowband if I want to show you the big tall trees outside my window. I am a bit upset that I am in such a beautiful spot all alone. No one to share the starry skies with, the moon rises, the sunsets, the smell of the freshly watered earth, the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables that taste as they ought to, the clear seas. All I can say is- sorry for not turning up.
Had the worst two weeks of my life and today is the first time I have been near my computer.
It all started with an uninsured drink driver smashing into the back of me on the A406 and just got worse from there.
What makes it worse is you all had such a great time!!
Humble apologies and I beg for forgiveness.
