You may have more success if you posted this request in the actual 'social' thread, as those who will be going will keep an eye on that, rather than other posts.
I hope you get sorted.

I'm not going to the social - but I'd be happy to help you out if I were - providing you are insane enough to get in my car lol
But I do have a couple of practical questions for you, which you might like to consider when asking folk for a lift and may help you get a more positive response.
Perhaps 'disabled' isnt enough info for people to make an informed decision - and before anyone jumps down my throat, what I mean is, are you a wheelchair-user? if so, room in the boot for your wheelchair would be advantageous, yes? if not, do you need assistance with mobility at all, or are you independent to the point of literally just needing a driver?
Some people are a bit apprehensive of disability luv, from your post/ ad I dont know how much assistance, if any, you'd need - and people can be very nervous about asking , and saying/ doing the wrong thing and sometime shy away from disability simply because they dont want to offend by asking, ya know?
Aside from the 'disability' issue , are you needing a lift home afterwards? that might impact on people's plans etc
Just a thought dunno I sincerely hope that you do get a lift in though. wink
hi
All good points above that will hopefully help Oralgift out.
I Have added your message to the top post on the thread for the meet as well as I am sorting things out.
As for lift's If you can get here and are stopping at the hotel i can sort of transport from the hotel to pub and back to hotel after.
If that helps.
cheers
