North Wales Social October 13th List Closed

Hi ppl the venue will be in denbighshire (details of course to follow nearer the time).Couples will get priority we have about 50 places left at the moment so you need to get your names in and get your place confirmed by myself or Laff_n_Chilli in the bbw northwales chatroom ,entrance will be £2 per head just to cover the hire of the room ,it has its own entrance,bar and toilets. It promises to be a good night and u will be able to get aquainted and put a face to the names you have seen in the bbw northwales room and the nw room and as you already know they are a friendly crowd .There will be a limited number of single guys and they will be dont be shy ,we are all in the same boat the venue has been told its a birthday party so you need not feel embarrassed .We have a small list of local hotels available if you require a room for the night hope to see lots of you on the night . if its a social in a public venue, why is there only a limited number of spaces for single guys? handpicked...wtf..by whom and whats the criteria?
Surely, a social is open to who ever can attend subject to them meeting the criteria about being vouched or on the site for a minimum length of time.
(dont worry,i fully understand when its a pvt house or a pvt club, which has rules about single guys)

I can't disagree with a single word that RWL has said.....and just to put this into some context I don't think I have ever been at a social or munch across the country in the 3yrs I have been on the site that the singles have ever outnumbered the couples.....
If these "guys" have done nothing wrong on the site Why cherrypick??? unless there is some other motive, and please don't give me the "to encourage couples" stuff... because I have encouraged couples and singles to get out there and go to munches and socials. In fact some of them have replied in this thread
i hate to think that any of them have been accosted (sp) by single blokes and none of them have.... if all you are doing at this social is as you say "to put names to faces" then why discourage anyone???

As a single male i can see where RW and Fabio are coming from and there points of view.
But i can also see where Shane is also coming from about limiting the numbers of Single Men so as to encourage more couples to come forward.
Its his event after all and as we all keep saying the mantra !!!!!!!

As a couple, I couldnt agree more. If we are going to a social we want to meet members of the site, not the ones 'cherry-picked' by the organisers.
A social is a social so it makes absolutely no difference is singles or couples are restricted.
Good luck with this social but I do think you are not doing yourself any favours by restricting this, and will end up missing out on some very nice people not wanting to attend. :)

Yes Rainbow ,sorry for not being around last week but was on holliday ..The social is still on .
I think I opened up a hornets nest when i made the first post ,I didnt mean to upset anyone. Can i just say that i have noted ALL your comments and i woul;d like to retract my limits on first post and say that any single males who can be vouched for by someone we know and trust will be wellcome to the northwales social on october 13th. I hope this will meet with everyones approval and that we can have a good night .
