****HOTEL UPDATE****
TRIED BLOCK BOOKING A LOAD OF ROOMS FOR THE PREMIER INN SITE TO GET THEM AT DISCOUNTED RATES, BUT THEY WERE HAVING NONE OF IT, SAID IT WOUD BE MORE EXPENSIVE TO BLOCK BOOK THAN EVERYONE TO DO IT INDIVIDUALLY AS THEY ALLOCATE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF ROOMS IN EACH PRICE BRACKET GRRRRRRRRRRR

When organising a social, I have always found it is easier just to get a load of hotels within a reasonable distance onto a word document and PM it to those that have requested it. I usually put a range of hotels from very expensive down to budget hotels, so different people can take a choice of where they want to go (I am down at the budget side 
).
If you start block booking you may find yourself out of pocket, and if organisers find themselves out of pocket then they do not want to do it again and I wouldn't want to see organisers stop as they do a great job in getting events running.......I love going to them.
Just a point of view and you can take it or leave it.......but great job in getting a local one organised :thumbup:

Ermmmmmmm can you add us as a maybe but we will not be able to confirm untill 24 hrs before hand. Juggling a few things at the moment you see. If you have an upper limit and you exceed that then put us on the reserve list. Best have people that can definately attend rather than some wooly minded old git who can't give a straight answer

Hy Laura and Chris, could you put us on definite list as NHS have deffo given us that w/e off.... Woooo Hooooo! We couldnt make your others so look forward to this one, mant thanks for organising it must be a pain at times but we do appreciate the oppurtunity to meet up with fellow swingers from our area, we would need to stay over so early details of your nearest hotels would be a bonus, and plenty of chances of playing after is always a must m,mmm ...
