NW Munch Newbies...

Hi there,
I am a newbie hoping to go to the NW munch. I am a single male aged 23. If nothing else it'll be great to meet up with other people who share the same interest and get some guidence and advice.
I'm starting this thread for any other newbies going to the munch (or thinking of going) to say how they feel about it and what they're plans are. I suppose it's also an attempt to find anyone else who is a newbie (or experienced and has the time) to make some friends.
I'd like to chat with someone (man, woman or cple) who is serious about going to the munch and might even want to meet for just a drink before the munch. I just feel a bit weird about turning up on my own. I don't want to end up sat in the corner on my own!
Otherwise, i'll reply totaly on this forum and hope my nerves hold out for the night!
So any newbies... are you as excited as me? have you got them butterflies that you can't decide are worries or excitment?
And to all you experienced.... how did you first start? hw ddi it feel? any advice....?

i know i'm not on the list. there's still 3 weeks to go.
even if i don't end up getting an invite then at least i stand a chance of chatting with some other newbies on here. It's kinda hard to get started (as you might vaugly remember). The munch is a great talking point for the less experienced of us.
I intend to bring my gf in to it all eventually, bu i'm not sure how she'll react.
anyway, see you round?? maybe!

We always like to see new people onboard, however, if you had read through the posts concerning the Munch, you would see that latecomers would not get an invite. Nothing exclusive about it, other than getting to know people first, THEN attending a Munch, not the other way round. It's to prevent people coming who really are not swingers, but gawpers. If you have been on here a while, people would know you and you wouldn't have a problem being invited. Until such time, stick around, join in and get to know us crusties and look forward to the next Munch when you would get your invite, but not as a Newbie.

Hi newbie_student2004,
The munch is an open invite to members of the site. Having said that, if the sum total of someones contribution to the site is one post that says "can I come to the munch?" then the chances are that they won't get invited. There's more to being a member of the site than just registering a nickname and hoping for a quick shag (IMHO).
You've been on the site for a month now and judging by what you've posted so far you seem to be looking to get more involved than that so if you're still around in a couple of weeks I'll add you to the list and when the time comes I'll pm you the details for the munch.

oh no. i totally understand. i'm sure gawpers are a problem... hence my attempt to make new friends and not turn up alone.
i must've missed the bit about latecommers, i suppose they're is always the next munch. ah well... on with the thread... there must still be some 1st timers at the upcoming munch who wanna chat about their excitment and stuff.
