Official Christmas meet for the Scottish Room Interested?

up to now the majority are not too bothered about a buffet,
but seeing as any monies collected are to be shared between the DJ and a charity there will be a collection on the night for the charity.
The chosen charity is a charity i do work for
it is the heart lung and chest for Scotland.

Sunni, babe, could I suggest putting a list of attendees on page one of the thread so's we can all see we've been listed? Makes it a bit easier and makes sure no one thinks they've told you, but actually been missed. :idea:

due to pure excitement forgot to say, we're not fussed about buffet

Many thanks for the idea but not sure how it can be done on this thread........... Also a number of people have applied by email and don't want their names shown, which we can understand. When we issue the email giving the address for the venue we will include the names of all who have confirmed (with the exception of those that dont want their names listed). (And yes you are listed Targaid lolololol)
Due to the lack of interest from folks there will not be a buffet, but there may be a wee surprise on the night!
And Hillfolk you are most certainly welcome

, as previously mentioned, if you take part in the forums and chat rooms on a regular basis then more than likely your comment will be shown to have been rather premature. Sunni has indeed noted down your interest and you will notice that a fair few solo fellas have registered their interest too.
However the ones who dont have profiles, dont take regular part in forums or in the chat rooms then maybe they wont be surprised if they do not get an invite as this social is for active members of the site.

A wee bit slow off the mark as i just got wind of the munch 10 minutes ago. Better late than never eh? I Didn't know anything about it. Hopefully theres still a place for me, being a single male and all. I Haven't been able to make any of the munches to date, so i'm looking forward to hitting this one with a bang. Lots of interest by other regular members & Helens birthday aswell, looks like it'll be a good'un. Keep me posted! lol

As the writer of a post you can edit it at will, so you just click on the edit button on one of your posts on page 1. Most of the other munches I've gone to have done this, the idea being that regulars can also easily see if their friends are going and so be encouraged to sign up. (yeah like any of us need encouragment :cheers: ) I suppose it might also allow some to decide not to go if there's someone attending they've had problems with in the past etc. All that usually gets listed is the member's site name which is public domain in the members list, anyway, so no personal information is given out. (Unless you've been daft enough to use an edress or actual name for your handle, that is.) Since we should all be regulars in either forums or chat rooms most of us will at least be familiar with the aliases that'd be listed.
