I have been approached to see if I could organise an official Christmas social in Scotland.
The date will be Saturday 9Th December. The location and details will be sent by email at a later date.

The venue is sorted, and we have a DJ and a late licence till 1 o clock.
The Dj and room are free.
To ensure a suitable balance of people attending, although this meet is open to all regulars of swinging heaven, preference will be given at first instance to the Scottish room on a couples and single ladies basis.
Where numbers allow an even balance of the all membership will take Precedence.
All people interested attending have got to register their interest in forums.
There will be a cut off date, which will be announced nearer the time. I have tried to find somewhere that is central in Scotland for all members, bearing in mind the bulk of the members stretch from Ayrshire to fife.
Therefore I can confirm that the location will be adjacent to a main A Rd running between Edinburgh and Kilmarnock, which obviously means in the South Lanarkshire area.
The cost for the evening is, if a buffet required a head and any monies left over to be split with the DJ and a charity, if no buffet is required the cost will be a head and the monies again split between the DJ and a charity.
Please could you put your names down so I can gauge what interest there is and also if you would like a buffet or not.
The theme for the night is ‘Christmas’ for anyone who would like to dress up.
The social is open to all REGULAR members of the forum and the chat room, who have joined the forums or chat room on or before 1st September 2006, (which will give some of the newer members the chance to get know on here prior to meeting some people in a social environment). However, should places still be available nearer to the time, I will open this up to others who joined the site after this date so long as another regular on here will be able to vouch for them as being genuine or they have become regular posters/chatters in their own right.

If anyone has any questions, or are unsure if they want to go to a Meet then just drop me a whisper or mail and I will try to answer any questions you have. You will always find me in the Scottish room.
A list of local hotels will be available so people can book early and I will include details of local taxi companies.
If anyone guesses the location or the name of the venue and it gets out into the public domain, this meet will be cancelled to ensure discretion for all members.
