THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A TRADITIONAL WHITE WEDDING WITH FLOWERS AND MISTY LOVEY DOVEY PICTURE OPPORTUNITIES. PLEASE NOTE ALSO SOME PARTS WILL BE ADULTS ONLY ALTHOUGH YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME AS A FAMILY (bear in mind schools will be open though). WE HAVE INCLUDED COSTS FOR YOU FOR ANY PART WHICH REQUIRES ENTRY FEES ETC, PLEASE NOTE ALSO THAT YOU WILL NEED TO FEED AND WATER YOURSELVES EACH DAY AS THERE IS NO "RECEPTION" AS SUCH.
Phew, right hopefully that has pointed out the most commonly asked questions and objections (
<sigh>, don't ask!) we have had so far, if you need to know anything else simply ask...Now, the plan...
Hopefully, and this could all be subject to change, this year everything else has gone wrong so we wouldn't be surprised, but hopefully this is how the days are going to pan out:
Wednesday 9th September
DRESS CODE: Jeans and t-shirt please.
From 07:30 to 07:45 Welcome anyone wishing to join us for breakfast, or simply a cup of tea/coffee in a Staffordshire Hotel, ask for details if you wish to attend.
09:00 We start the day with our own promises to each other and cloth-bands exchange.
(Cost £3 - £20 per head)
09:30 to 09:45 Meet at Staffordshire Registry Office for actual wedding at
10:00 where we will basically simply be doing the minimum possible, sayng yes we're legally able to get married, signing the paperwork and getting out pretty sharpish! Seriously, for us this part of the day, whilst important, isn't what the days about, so don't expect much here! again, details will be sent to anyone wishing to attend nearer the time.
10:30 - 11:00 Travelling to Alton Towers (YYYEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!) about a 20 minute drive away, so should be there around 11:00.
11:00 - End of Day at ALTON TOWERS (for costs goto for details)
Including:
15:30 Official collaring/submission in gardens, specific location on day.(OVER 14 years only, 14-16 with parents please)
16:30 Restaurant for parting "thank yous" and toast, grab yourself a drink from the bar here and toast us for the future...(Cost - Depends on your drink!)
