oxford meets and socials

hi all new to this site but we are on another site aswell just seeing whos about . any local couples or bi females about or are there any socials or partys going on ?

There used to be regular Oxford socials. Great nights they were, too. But the main hotel where everybody used to stay (Travelodge) got ridiculously expensive when the same names started booking up at certain times. I don't know if they have some kind of software that recognises names etc, but one time a £19 room leaped in price to £180 in 24 hours once people started booking. That killed the Oxford socials as people refused to pay stupid prices asked by Travelodge.

I meet up with friends once a year in Oxford in late July or early August and would be happy to drop into a SH social if it coincided. Socials are great ways to put a real life face to internet friendships.
