Hi every one, now bit worried about asking this because in the past every time I have posted anything on this site I have been insulted or ridiculed, so here goes......
Right I have been on here since March as a single bi have been in that time loads of parties localy.
Now my problem is at 54 I am old school and was brought up been told....you dont invite yourself toa party or ask to go to one....why.....because its bad manners to invite yourself to someone elses home........
So I sit and wait for the loads of pople who look at my profile to invite me and.........
NOTHING
So how do I go against my upbringing (which younger people will think is stupid, and I agree it is) and get my self invited to parties??????

Just put yourself down for the meets and parties in the Lets Meet up section. You're fine you'll do okay.
The whole point of the parties etc being advertised is for people to ask their names be put on the list....
Next one you see that you fancy going to...........Add your name :thumbup:
So doesnt anyone invite people anymore in this day and age or is it the norm now to just gate crash....? oh well cant see me going to many parties hahahahaha
Still not realy got an answer but never mind seems you just go against everything I was taught as a girl now and just put your name down ... oh well so much for manners eh xxxx ty all xx
I give up on this topic I never have any luck with my posts in the forums dont know why I bother with them, to be honest I wish I had just got on with things like I always did and never mentioned it.
I have noticed that all of the people who have made comments are in their early 30's and not of the same age as myself...well life growing up in the 50's was a hell of a lot differant than growing up in the 70's.... haha
I am closing this topic now so thank you for those who have contributed even tho none of it has been of any help to me.
As an after thought I have noticed that it seems all the moderators are in their early 30's .....how come there arnt any more mature ones say in their 50's 60'
