Hi folks.
Thought I would say hi, my wife and I live in Holbeach about 20 miles from peterborough.
We think a P'boro meet is great idea, all the fun seems to up north and the east of england is being unfairly left out.

sounds like a good idea to me, now to find a venue,i would offer ma place in the country for use but im about 15 miles out of peterborough near huntingdon, but i do have a lovely big garden for a bar-b-q. biggrin

, but be a bit careful about offering your house for a munch! Some munches are very popular, I mean the NW munch has about 100 people planning to turn up :shock: . I wouldn't like to clean up after that many folks, that's for sure... anyway, your choice I guess.

Come on anyone its bank holiday this weekend there must be something hap i can't host a party sized event or a get together as i have someone staying with me and the fiancee we would love to attend a get together maybe even a camp out at a camp site? I know sacrewell farm nr peterborough has a site has im sure some others do how about a bring a bottle and tent event lol

Erm, just a bit concerned that Im gonna get left by the wayside here! Maybe a suggestion though- Tiggs, if youre gonna have people round, make sure its people you know well from on here. I mean I've been speaking to you and ur fella for AGES now, so you know I'm ok, as i'm sure you do with other people. But there are certain characters that seem to just pop up wherever a meet is mentioned!
Just saying.......! Dont forget poor old me! Lol lol

Hi

Well it is my first ever post so I thought I would say hello to all the Peterboroughians ( Is that actually a word ? )
I am also from the afore mentioned city. I cannot believe there are so many people from Peterborough here, I blame it all on Hampton :P Anyway I am very very very new to all of this and would love the chance to chat socially with some of the more experienced people form our city. So any form of social gathering would be great as far as I am concerned :) Not actaully looking to contact anyone at this stage but would really like some friendly advice.
