it's really foul.
I went in there with some friends a while back and the floor was sticky from.... well you know what........ and they hadn't even bothered to clean it for years by the look of it. It smelled weird like a mixture of years of dirt and dust lightly sprayed with kitchen cleaner in a vain attempt to hide the actual smell which I couldn't place......
One of the girls went back on her own and got kicked out cos she wasn't a man and it was men only everyday of the week or something.... she might have been porkpiein though

Went from uni, thought it would be 'a laugh', it's utterly repellent, I couldn't detect the smell of Dettol, or any evidence of cleaning whatsoever, and I'm pretty sure that I got flea bites. Not only that, the chances of escaping with your wallet are slim (check out the entryway after 8 o'clock at night) - Get a room at the Crown Plaza with a DVD player, take your own porn and some friends. You'll have so much more fun, you won't stick to the floor, and it'll probably cost you less.

The drunks down the arches are usually far too drunk to even see you let alone steal your wallet, they may be sick on you or pleade with you to take their photo... that's another story..... or even fall down infront of you.

Used to go quite often when i was at uni there a few years back - probably explains why i only got a third! They used to have strip tease as well as pornos - does this still happen? I only ever saw one couple in there in all my visits, the poor woman looked shit scared for all the pervy old men gorping! The place stunk of stale fags and the floor always sticky - part of its seedy "charm" me thinks!

The VIP Club (yes, it really is called that!) is truly crap and full of demented 70 year olds wanting to suck cock but unable to get their own up (or so I've been told :shock: :shock: ), but it was by no means the worst - I remember when there were 3 other hardporn cinemas in Manchester city centre, resulting from some experiment by the council in the late 70's.
