Poss Swingers Got Talent Social - Do you have the talent??

Hi
I am thinking of organising a social around July or August time in the east mids area, that has live entertainment.
SH has many talented members so why not show it off? many of us would like to hear or see you.
Are you in a band?... Do you sing or play music? Do a special dance or quirky act? Stand up comic?
Would you be interested in attending if I can gather the acts together?
The idea is for each act to play/sing between 15-30 mins each, and also at least an hours disco for your chance to dance.
If interested, would you contact me with what you'd like to do & see if I can pull it all together. I can provide backing discs and the equipment to sing with, amps & speakers but those with instruments will have to bring them along.
There will be no payment to artists takin part & the only fee will be to cover room hire.
I hope I posted this in the correct forum.. if not, Im sorry x was just unsure x
Please let me know of your interest and views as this will determine wether it goes ahead or not.

I am a bass player and would happily sit in with a guitarist/singer etc should anyone require me.

Missy... You can practice anytime if you like x just a long drive to do it i guess... But decide what you'd like to sing and practice at a karaoke near you maybe till I get together a date for a practice venue to listen to peeps & decide a running order etc.
Im not arranging a date/venue until I get some opinions from other members here as to what they think or if they'd actually attend.. So please members, let me know what you think, positive or negative.

OOOO wineman.. thats a generous offer
But sadly as yet, the idea doesn't seem a popular one. But I'll leave it a few weeks and see if anyone is serious to have a go. I dont want to do 'just a social' as I believe there are plenty good ones around going on all the time and Im not trying to be competition, just think of ways to do something different from the norm.. (who is Norm anyway )
