My personal opinion is that holding socials at venues meant for play is not a great idea, a social at a local pub (preferably with private function room) with an option for people to then move on to a club at the end of the night works better.
Firstly a lot of clubs don't like large groups of non-playing guests crowding out the club.
Secondly a lot of people who would like to attend a social because it is a social and not a "play event" will not go to a swingers club because it's not all about socialising it is about playing as well.
The dress code at the club you have chosen (towels and lingerie) is not really in the spirit of a social event.
We would love to attend either a "get together for some after xmas fun event" at chameleons or a "social event" at a non play orientated venue with the option of moving onto a club afterwards.
Just a personal opinion and best wishes to all those that do attend.
hi jed, been a while since i saw in chams my friend, how are you both? maybe i used the wrong wording. i was just trying to get a few people together who i chat to in the chatrooms and have a laugh. if anybody wants to play then i thought it would be a great idea to all meet at chams, seeing as its pretty central for everyone. thanks for the input though, its appreciated. best wishes to sasha ;)
oh and shiraz, itll be good to meet you, look forward to seeing you both (you sure its not too far for you being the darlaston one? lol).

Hiya, all well here, always has been for me hasn't it, Lucky bugga being my second name.
Have you thought of approaching the MYVOD in Myvod Lane (about 4-5 mins from Chameleons) they certainly used to allow socials at the pub for people who were going on to Chameleons after the social, easy to find just a few mins from Junc 9 of the M6, good parking facilities etc.

Plenty of social events are held at Chams....
Plenty attend (and not all have the intention of playing) and Chams can't mind that much as they offer decent entry prices with no need for membership....
i would be interested in this, if it goes ahead can you email me please as i dont always look on the forums
thanks
