We found they were a good ice-breaker, and helped new people feel like part of the "in crowd", and also save people having to run around asking everyone who they are. Very handy for late arrivals who aren't sure where the gang is too: Just aim for the nutters with the pink & blue badges
I've done some more for the NW Munch, only this time they're not personalised because there are so many people whose attendance I'm not certain of, so I'm afraid you'll have to write your names on your badges yourselves.
Some are pin badges, some are stick ons for those who don't want holes in their clothes, and some are semi-transparent so they won't clash with your outfit.
Anyone who wants a personalised badge for future munches, with your name and photo/avatar printed on them, just let me know and I'll do them for free.

PS - I've printed my own badge on a T-Shirt and it looks rather cool. If the idea catches on, I'll do those for everyone too, but if there's a big demand I'll have to ask you to donate the cost of the shirt.
