The answer is , as you say, how long is a piece of string. In fact, you may never get replies from some. If you are replying to a female ad, you may be one of thousands of replies... just put yourself of the poor womans position.

thanx for the replies, my pc is fine i've had replies,but a few in ribs and drabs, and i do have the answer to "how long is a piece of string"..........its twice the distance from the middle............... not bad eh............cheers dave

So my advice join in on threads - get known and come to some of the munches - meet people and then make friends - meets tend to follow when people can put names to faces

Well we joined in August and are still looking, but as people have said, its not something to rush or a quick fix. TBH I dont think we helped ourselves much by not getting involved in the forums (which as you can see - we are now)
