Hi,
I have been told about Rio Sauna in London. They say its a good place for a single male to meet couples or females for some fun.
Has anyone been there? Is it any good?
If I go then it will be this Saturday (2nd July) around 2-4pm - is it any good around this time?
I am a newbie so this would be my first time, so very nervous, not sure what the rules are etc? So any help would be appreciated please :-)
Thanks
Jay
Sorry only realised my profile had not saved - updated now though :-)
Hello Fun
As a couple we have tried Rio's twice now and would never go back. For us the single guys are way too full on and pushy and the place is dirty, we have been twice and on both visits the playrooms had used condoms, empty wrappers and and used tissues over the floor and the beds were so disgusting it was a health hazard. We did try the jacuzzi's but didn't stay in there long because as soon as we got in we were surrounded by single guys and ended up with toes in places that I didn't want them.
It does depend on what type of single guy you are but if you are a respectful and genuine guy then have a look around for a much better place, other clubs may be more expensive but for experience and health reasons I wouldn't go to Rio's.
Hope thats helpful !
Hi, thank you for your reply. I did go to Rio's as I was down there but to be honest I was very very disappinted - not sure if its because I am new to this and didn't know what to do or to expect but the average age limit was around 60 and the odd female/couple that was there were very stand offish. Lots of old single men. It really did not seem like a swinging club at all - more like a geriatric nude sauna. I had an overpriced massage by a nice young woman, but that stopped at being anything other than a back massage. All that did was make me horny but without the finish....lol. I am quite a polite chap so would never try to force myself or be pushy with anyone - to be honest someone would really have to show me the come on otherwise I would miss it.
If it wasn't advertised as a swinging venue, why would they have lockable playrooms ? we found it dirty and never met one nice person there. Wouldn't recommend anyone go there.
Fun, you might be better off having a look in London for swinging clubs rather than spa type places, if you are polite and respectful then I am sure you would have a great time.
well Ive been to this club on a couple of occasions over the years when working down that way...never again , its the worst club Ive been to or seen..dont know why i bothered going in the last time May this year
not recommended at all

Club Review: Previously an old naturist venue this club has three Jacuzzi’s, two steam and sauna rooms, showers, plunge pool, lounge area, free soft drinks and towels, plus a smokers covered garden, and a small selection of play rooms with foam mattresses. Upstairs is an area for couples only and there is a larger group room on the top level which has not always been open on our visits. Rios advertises itself as a spa in a North London high street, so not be aware not everyone goes there to swing occasional casual visitors do wander in not realising who its main client base are. Saturday night is a dedicated night for swinging couples from 7pm until Midnight but at it is like the start of the Grand National as a plague of single men gallop into the venue. We have visited Rios on numerous occasions over the years, and while parts of the club have seen refurbishment recently, it is still not a venue without its problems. Mostly these are caused by single men who simply don’t know how to behave and the failure by staff to address this issue. My partner has been practically molested on one occasion when we were trying to leave and you can’t go into a Jacuzzi without several single male masturbators suddenly arriving in close proximity to any female visitors. For us, this is not what The Scene is about and for someone new it could be incredibly off putting. Saturdays can be fun and have a good atmosphere, but similarly many of the couples do not stay or play together and are many women simply act as tickets to get single men through the door. It can be a nice place to use the facilities, but for a nervous first time couple or single female who wants to dip their toe in the Scene, there are places where you will feel much more comfortable. But if you’re old hands at the Scene and can handle yourselves around pushy company, this venue which is almost open 24hours with its central location, can be a good place to unwind or get a great deal of attention single guys who only be too happy to show you their wares.
This review, by the way, was Amazingly kind, I left out the bit out being propostioned by prostitutes and my partner actually being approached to be recruited as one, she was also practically assaulted by a guy as we were trying to go home. This place might not advertise itself overtly as a swinging club, but it is one, and doesnt pretend otherwise. Simply the behaviour here has been the worst from the single men, in any club we've ever been to, and we've been to over 50 venues. We went here several times, why may you ask, because its 5 minutes from where I live, and each time we hoped it would get better. The last visit was the only one where we haven't had any hassle. The staff are well aware of what goes on here. This club is basically the last refuge of the desperate.

Actually no,
There are six couples on our review team, and we have all been there.
And we all pretty much said the same thing. 4 couples gave it one star out of 5, we were a little more generous, the highgest it got were three.
So the review is an editorial of all the opinions expressed combined. And we do prefix all the reviews with exactly that point, they are just our teams opinion.
But personally, I dont expect to go to a club and have my partner propositioned by a hooker recruitment team on premises!
