As promised, here's your chance to probe just exactly what goes on at Rios Sauna in London. To comply with Forum rules, exact times and dates will not be published on this list. The intended timespace for our visit is sometime over the weekend of 1st to 2nd of May.
Anyone who would like to test this place out for the first time, please leave a mesage at the bottom of this thread.
I'd also like to hear from folks who could suggest a nearby coffee shop where we could congregate before going in.

Yes i am quite interested...
Am curious about the number of people going though!. I dont think the place is that big.. (wondering how many people you can get in a sauna).. Only trouble is my leave has been cancelled for the 1st. .. may be able to make it if its in the evening though.
Mind you, on the flip side.. im thinking it could be quite a laugh.. and has potential to be a bit naughty too!

Well there are 3 steam rooms of varying warmth, 2 Sauna's and 3 Jacuzzi's one a twenty seater I believe. Plus a chill out area next to the bar so I should imagine thee will be plentty room for all plus the regulars.

There is a pub just a couple of buildings down from Rio's, towards the Kentish Town Tube station.
That might be a good place to meet.
I realize we shouldn't post exact times and dates on the Forum, but I think everyone should be clear on what to expect at different times.
I've been to Rio's a fair bit and I like the place a lot, (even) as a single male.
Daytimes tend to be much quieter - sometimes the upswing in crowd and action as the evening/night wears on can be dramatic. Sundays are quiet. Saturdays are pretty active, but evenings are couples only. Fridays are very busy overall, and Wednesday "naturist night" is also pretty busy.
So, picking a time/place should be done, keeping in mind what we're looking for - a relaxed look around the place on a quiet day? Or a full on invasion during the busiest period on a Wednesday/Friday evening?
I'd love to come for this - may or may not be able to make it depending on the exact day/time.

Calum... it differs from a Munch because at Munches, NO sexual behaviour is going to happen. This will be different because the chances are peeps MAY get the chance to see, and join in with sexual contact...

I spent a very pleasant few hours at Rio's on Friday afternoon. Everyone is very pleasant with a good atmosphere. Loads of men however, a few ladies and all the staff are cheery and helpful.
The sun came out and I 'laid back' and relaxed, my first real taste of sunshine this year.
One couple in the large jacuzzi were a bit all over each other but they didn't go very far. Funny that all the other men in the pool left shortly after they did. I wonder why.
From what I have seen so far Rios during the day is fairly tame, but like anywhere else, it's the company you keep that makes all the difference.
