please could somebody take pity on me!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got my p.c 3 weeks ago and ive just found this site the other day ive read all the postings and i realise its probably too late for me to get an invite but i'm asking for someone with a wee tad of compassion to look at my plight and see if they have it in their heart to drop me an invite. PLEASE.

If anybody needs a hotel room for tomorrow night, I booked a double one in December but am now unable to attend the munch :cry: Let me know by PM by tonight if you want the room (only if you're on the munch list obviously!) because I need to cancel it if nobody is going to use it.

Well shouting about it certainly isn't going to help your cause.
There's only one person that can say yes or no and that's the organiser. You may have noticed that she's not been on line this morning.
I do know what the answer is likely to be though and that's a no. It doesn't really matter how heart rending a plee you make it's not going to change the fact that you only registered with the site today. It's unfortunate but nobody knows who you are and you're likely to get the same answer as everyone else that has only recently joined the site.
All I can suggest is that you stick around, get yourself known and then ask to go to future munches and socials.

Nobody can 'drop you an invite' as they aren't all orgnising it. If anyone did then I'm sure they might be uninvited from future munches. If you've read the thread you'll see that there were criteria for being invited and you don't fit them.

OK FOLKS I'VE GOT THE DRIFT. I JUST THOT MAYBE COS I HAD JUST GOT MY P.C AND HAD JUST FOUND THE SITE THAT THE RULES MAY HAVE GOT BENT SLIGHTLY BUT ALAS NO JOY BUT I WILL STICK AROUND AND HOPEFULLY I MAY GET TO MEET YOU ALL IN THE NOT TO DISTANT FUTURE.
