But he has said "not this Saturday and every 1st Saturday of the month thereafter". Their rebadge and sort out went ahead some weeks before it was announced, so I assume the posted date is the date of their "official launch"????
Their website does not really give a lot of information now it has been re-vamped, it seems to be pretty much just a booking form when it comes down to party details.

Yes.....but their website is somewhat sketchy and unfinished.....and it does not match what I THINK their guy said in this forum.......mind you, it's gonna wash out anyway with people being unclear of what is happening. Pity, this club is very pretty inside (we have been) and is by far the most local to us. But the organisation and marketing is a bit "patchy" to say the least. Possibly the reason for the poor attendances mentioned in their reviews on the old website.

It would appear you have something against this club, we have been and have to say that we think you are very wrong, we have been in the club scene for over 10 years and this club is very well run, fun and welcoming, as for poor attendance all new clubs suffer from this when they first start. I would highly recommend this club to anyone and fingers crossed more people will attend as it's about time sussex, surrey and kent had a good club and we really think this could be it.....

The situation regarding this Saturday IS unclear due to the posting of someone from the club and their website IS unclear??????
Don't quite understand your comments, but you have the right to make them of course, but maybe a step back and a little observation would be in order before you start attacking people for voicing a valid concern....
The club is very pretty and very clean, but the owners do seem to focus on the appearances of things rather than the marketing....which could lead them straight into failure, it has happened before, and we would NOT like to see that happen!
A little mental arithmetic would suggest that they need MANY more attendees to each party, otherwise, the running costs will swallow the working capitol and disaster will surely follow and as this club has been running for a little while now it is surely time things were sorted? Kent has several well established clubs that entertain goodish numbers, Surrey and the southern parts of London likewise. Like it or not, Sexires is in direct competition to those clubs, instance the opening night of "Club Risque", the original name of this club, when the operators of Swinging Cherries turned up as "honoured guests" and spent the entire night bad naming the club and inviting people to theirs!!!!!
No, we have nothing against this club, but, if you think that by not attending until the numbers improve is "bad mouthing" then so be it......and please don't suggest that if everyone who thought as we do were to actually attend it would improve things. We have limited time, opportunity and, yes, cash! To spend on entertainment.....we can't afford to "chance it" and waste the evening. In these days of recession, I think that will be a common feeling.

our intention was not to attack anyone, but we do feel a fair crack of the whip should be open to everyone, this is a good club and we hope that it lasts and is a success which will be great for everyone....

The reply, seemed to imply, that despite the first Saturday of the month single guys day would start "officially" on the 7th of November, they would actually allow on the first Saturday of October.....but the post was a little ambiguous. The website as Andy posted says not....confusion all round.
We simply commented that this is NOT a first at this club....like it or not, it comes across a "scrappy" to say the least and if the meaning is unclear, people won't go!
We prefer nights where single guys ARE allowed.....might have considered going this week if that were the case. Trouble is, even if that WERE the case, it's a bit late now to clarify.....hence few single guys, therefore from our point of view, not worth going. That equates (possibly, dependant on what the situation actually is this Saturday) to a loss of revenue....not good.

This is going to be the first swinging heaven event which will continue every first saturday of every month..
The reason it didnt start from the first saturday of october is because it fell on the launch party of sexires...
The couples invovled in this house party are commited and have other people invovled in the marketing of the venue...
They have reduced the contribution to couples to bring it in line with other clubs in the south east area...
