I would prefer weekends, if possible, but yep, sounds like a plan!! :lol:

Count me in too alex... if you want a hand organising venues etc.. let me know.. have done this loads of times...and know some good places to play (golf)
also.. this isnt just for the lads..any female golfers want to play... put yr names down...

How about a Golf competition and a Sexiest Caddy competition....
prizes could be appropriate to the clientele wink

I would suggest you make the venue on an afternoon and have it close to Partners David biggrin

I have a Daily Telegraph Open Fairways card that allows 2 4 1 etc... at hundreds of courses, including some great ones in the NW like Portal/Carden Park.. available for use biggrin

I dont think it will be a problem finding anywhere, it just depends on how much people want to pay...you can usually get good society deals with breakfast, a round, and presentation meal for around Â£30
Or we can pay a tenner to hack round a turd infested municiple lol

Right serious time... Alex has asked me to check out some venues so... i will be doing that over the next week (have to work in between times)...if anyone has any suggestions then please pm me with them..
my ideas so far...
Walton Hall - Warrington
Antrobus - near Warrington
Heaton Park - North Manchester
Styal - near Wilmslow
Heyrose - near Knutsford
Brookfield - near Crewe
Malkins Bank - near Sandbach
Woodside - near Holmes Chapel
Peover - near Knutsford
My personal fav would be Peover..easy to get to... near motorway..and its a good challenging course...
Any other suggestions welcome..send pm
Yes it would be nice to play Carden Park etc but we must remember we have a real mixture of golfing ability, and some without handicap certificates...so yes we will avoid the turd infested courses but we must get somewhere that suits all..not the few..
Timing..as its meant to be summer.. hows about late afternoon - between 3 and 4 tee off time..midweek? If u want a weekend, then this is possible too but it will be more restrictive because of prebboked times for club competitions...but anything is possible
