Sheffield Drinkies Thurs 8th Dec

Hiya folks
I was just wondering how much interest there would be in getting a few people together for a social on 8th Dec in or around Sheffield.
Nothing elaborate - just a few drinks in a pub - maybe going on for a bit of a bop if people fancy it.
Let me know....and if there seems to be enough interest I will take the idea further.
Obviously, just for known forum members as usual.

Thats a thursday Alex which is one of the few days I might actually be able to get some cover on the boys. Im in Sheffield about once a week on average so could arrange work round it.
are you thinking afternoon or evening confused

I was thinking of the evening as many people would be working during the day!

If I can get one arranged I will need to book some accomodation so if anyone has any info on a decent hotel I would be interested

Hi, I'm fairly new here, and would love to meet others for a drink and social.
I,ve not met anyone yet and only recently had a sheffield PM from Sheffieldfun4two.
I know you said only regulars invited, but please consider this polite request.
It's getting lonely here and I'm not used to being lonely.

PS. I can recommend some good pubs if your stuck for a place to me, just let me know what you like and any other criteria. Most of the good pubs are on the west side of the city, but i'm happy to meet anywhere.

Hi Alex, any chance of me coming along, never been to a social and I have been around on here for over a month (dunno if that makes me regular enough yet), I am a very genuine, nice guy, always up for a laugh, friendly, 35, profile and advert somewhere on here.
Anyone able to shed some light on what happens at social's though, is it just a few drinks somewhere and a chance to meet people into the scene, or, well, ahem, anything else on the cards wink

Either way, I would definately like to come, I have Thursdays to Sundays free, so, if it is okay, give me a shout.

PS the social is just that - just a chance to meet others in a PURELY social setting in a normal pub with people NOT from the site also being there.
So - no hanky panky goes on! Just like going to the pub with a bunch of mates.
What people choose to do after that is entirely their own business.
