Shellness Naturist Beach

Hi All,


We are looking to take little trip to the naturist beach in Shellness (Isle of Sheppey, in Kent) but we have a couple of questions...


  • Is it still in use as a naturist beach?

  • It will be our first time but is there a lot of nuisance there? i.e. meaning from local objectors etc. not from like minded folk, we are open minded after all 😉
    • What is the best time of day to go?  Other than when the sun out is of course.  Looking for a time that others will be there to feel more comfortable.

    It’s still a naturist beach but it’s overlooked by a footpath so suggest a windbreak or two if you want a little privacy.
