as you've asked what people think heres my view, seems strange you as a " couple" are arranging singles only even your profile states "no singles" IMO that may scupper your chance of this being successful, i'd certainly delete the bad bit about singles in your profile b4 this goes ahead, but good luck if it goes ahead anyway.
Well lets hope this can change things for all singles they do get a bad rep and its not fair

Why are "singles " being spoken of here like something on the bottom of a shoe?
Seems some couples think this site is exclusive to the click well some of us "singles" do know how to behave and i for one am house trained.

I have to say, i did wonder what a cpl was wanting to organise a singles night for.
Probably not intending to, it does come across a bit like your doing this in the hope to get single fems interested in meeting yourselves... except isn't this a social for "singles" not single girls to meet a cpl?
From past experience in the last 12 months or so there has been 2 single socials spoken about. The 1st was a success but the second didn't go ahead due to not enough single fems being interested.

First i would like to say i know this couple very well and have been to many events they have been too and organised themselves.
Its so easy for single women to get to events but not so easy for single men if both sexes are evened out i do not see a problem and do not understand why ppl nit picking about others when all they do is try to help.
Lets see who are interested in going before dampers are put on it b4 its even got any names down.
Also what does it matter if they are a couple why should that matter ppl should be honoured that they want to do this for the singles in the swinging world.

Nobody is nit picking....well im certainly not. But why should people be honoured that there doing something for the singles?? There are plenty of people on here who do things what singles are invited to.
I was giving advice from past experiences.. and like i said earlier... good luck. Unfortunetly i wouldn't be able to make it to scotland.

If I lived in Scotland I would go, but as I'm based towards the bottom of the Midlands it's way too far.

We would like to say in our defence that we have many single freinds both male and female, and certainly dont need to organise a social to meet single females.
we know from our freinds how difficult it is for a single swinger of any gender to meet suitable people
without having to go through all the hassle of coffees, calls and emails , just to find out your not compatable after all, so the idea came to light;

i wasn't nit picking either but as we've organised 31 derby socials i feel people have to fully trust the organiser b4 attending such events and if i was single and saw a couples profile advertising such events but their profile states if your single don't contact us ( i wouldn't) any maybe others near you won't. just suggesting perhaps remove that bit from the profile if your now seeking singles even if its just for a social.

i see the good intention, but as a single yes it did make me think why are a couple organising this? will they be allowed to be there if its singles only? lol
i dont actually "mind" the coffee meet up to see if im compatable with someone. its all a part of swinging to me, friends first fun second.
i dont understand why its harder for single males to get to socials than it is single females?
isnt everyone welcome at socials, munches? regardless of status?
will single playing peoplebe allowed ie those married with someone playing without consent? or purely only single people?

I am with bren on this one! The Kinks are a great couple and yes their profile might say no singles but that is what they want as a couple!!!! Mr and Mrs Kinks are great at setting up events and I am sure she tells you in the first instance that she was approached by singles to arrange this!

If someone offers to do a favour - and organising a munch for whatever categories is a favour for which we should feel grateful - questioning why is not very gracious behaviour.
Sure there are points to question sometimes like if there's a huge gate fee being asked for at a venue which does free room 'hires' (Note I'm NOT questioning that or implying it should be here), but you have to give folk the benefit of the doubt in the 1st instance.
