As has been repeated sooooooooooooo many times there will NEVER be a fool proof way.
I can only rely on the good faith of the people who wish to attend & Im sure those who intend on being dishonest will be weeded out eventually cos someone one here will know eventually what their status is.
So again repeated... tis trial & error
And I am not immune to error :lol:

I don't have any concerns re you taking all the singles ... just that you're blurring the lines between this being a dating site or being discriminative!
But maybe that's a debate for the cafe?

I promise this is my last word on this.
The post wasn't directed just at singles ...
It's been suggested a singles only social meet might be a good idea. So before anythings arraned I'd like to sound you out, see how much genuine interest there is.
As a single woman not looking for couples its sometimes hard to start talking to a man at a social only to find he has a wife/partner. I really dont want anyone else's guy so maybe it would be easier to know that everyone who attended is available for meets as a single.
Would be open to Straight, Bi, Gay. Any single would be welcome.
So, what do you think?... Would you attend??

You said it would be open to any single ... but that you didn't want anyone elses man! What about singles who prefer to swing one on one with part of a couple?

you were in my thread about being single on here. .. its so hard. when you want to meet a person that you want them to be able to see past your mooooo into you....... but its so hard...... so maybe a singles night where they get to meet you.. and have to talk to you..... maybe just maybe the single guys will see with the two eyes.. not there japs eye.. an might let a girl be a woman... just for them!!

Ms_Minxie, I am going to lock this thread as it is just going round and round in circles. You have already decided on your criteria for people attending and it seems you now have a venue, a suggested date, and have mentioned doing another post later this week, so in effect, your original question has now been answered.
If you want to carry on with a discussion about socials for singles, couples or who ever, then the Cafe which is where we have discussions rather than her in Lets Meet Up, where we arrange meets (sorry if that sounded sarcastic, it isnt meant that way, but I couldnt think of a better way of describing it).
