essexlady just wanted to pop a note on here to let you know that i have just had a phone conversation with the dick of an Ex i have.... and low and behold he remembers how he managed to fluck my chances last year and has said for definate that HE WILL have the kids for the 3 nights hunny..... so I will be there..... rolleyes

FYI - Essexlady has now decided that this is not a munch, enabling her to invite people that are not SH members.
Essexlady, could you please clarify what happens if anyone who has paid the non refundable deposit, but might not be so comfortable attending now?

When people decide to organise a munch for everyone, most of us are grateful that they've taken it on :happy: To help out, it was decided to have these threads 'stickied', to keep them at the top of page one, easily accessible to all. So it's pretty annoying when that person, acting on behalf of SH members, suddenly takes it upon themselves to change their minds!
Remember that when you do suddenly change your mind and open up a munch to non members - you could well be then excluding people, already on the list, that will only attend munches, due to the nature of their jobs etc
Another thing - the shit the mods have to sometimes deal with, when members, who never attend munches, just use the Lets Meet Up forum to ...... well, just post and meet. Their complaints about all the stickied threads clogging up page 1 etc. Looks like they're right, some of them need never be there and could reduce the amount of 'stickies'
Essexlady, this is not aimed just at you, it's aimed at everyone.
Please think carefully before taking on the responsibility of organising a munch guys - please please be sure that you are willing to carry it out fully.
