Stag & Hen "saints n sinners"Doncaster 8th Apr

Hi All
Some of you who know us already know that we are getting married early May!
We were hoping to attend the "Skeggy" do as it would have kinda been our "Stag n Hen" do as in the fact it would be the last time we would see people before the BIG day...But,as we all now know sad

it has had to be cancelled :( :cry: ....
Soooooooooooo......We are posting here to put the feelers out as to who, if anyone confused

, would be interested in a get together with us 8th/9th April,somewhere in Doncaster...Looking to hire a function room etc...so would be in the style of a social/ are plenty of hotels round and about which we could help with booking etc...
This whole event for us depends on how much interest and of course cost..........
Seeing as the whole year is pretty much "Munched out"we need to get an idea of numbers interested so we can book something suitable.

UPDATE:-Have asked for this to be removed from the "stickied" section...It will still be run on the basis of a "munch/social",but without some of the headaches munch organisers have!So lets PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTTTTTTYYYYYYYYY

Congratulations with the forthcoming wedding and all that. It would be shame to let a Stag and Hen night slip by without celebrating, so, yes - i would be very interested to come over to Donny to help send you on your respective ways biggrin

As far as I am aware, the 9th April has been earmarked for the NW Munch IV. I will check and get back to you. confused

T'is true!! Of course this doesn't mean you can't have the same night, but it would limit the amount of people able to go!!

We are talking Friday or Saturday 8th 9th April here.....or is my calendar broke and we made a total mess of it redface

......double check.....new calendar...... ummmmmmm ..
Ok so its deff a Friday or a Saturday.....But having said that Like the sarge said not much point if there is a munch on the cards....fingers crossed and heres hoping....Theres so much going on meet wise over the next few months,everyones spreading themselves so thin,we'll just have to see how things pan out over next month or so.....watch this space biggrin

Just let us know where and when........not everybody wants, or can, go to the munch.

There is nothing 'stickied' for the 9th April as yet. The only dates we have are 5th March Medieval munch, 26th March, Scottish Munch and 30th July Notts munch.
So where this NW munch comes into play, i do not know

There was a thread in the Cafe about the NW Munch and the date was pretty much decided to be 9th April......there is a problem about the venue at the moment but if that gets sorted then I suspect it will probably still be 9th April, but of course Steveg would be the one to ask.....
But saying that....if this party ISN'T on the same date as the Munch then I'll be there....hopefully.....LoL....

Thanks guys n gals......like i said,we getting in touch with ppl regards venues etc and want input for possible attendees but obviously would like it to be quite a big do....I been saying no to him for 7 years ...... So it needs to go with a BANG with our kinda people and friends around us... :high-smile: drinkies

Well. i can't find any ref to this munch, must be on page 5 or later, all i can say guys is go for it. There are enough of us to fill two venues on any given day. Don't change your plans to suit anybody else. This is YOUR day, go for it.

Ok read the thread and it kinda could work ........... OUR party on the FRIDAY and folks including us" hopefully" if we allowed could travel on to the munch....a full weekend maybe? possibly?? hopefully redface

You can arrange a Munch for any day you want, but if you want maximum attendence it is better if it doesn't clash with anything else.

Plenty b'n'b & hotels close by(from Â£25 ph)
