Hi all, me and my gf are thinking about organising a party for new swingers, since we are as well. we have our own flat and would be looking for couples between 18-26 who are happy to start off with same room fun, then possible soft swinging. Hell, if all goes well, we might even go the whole way.
I re-iterate, this party would be for couples and females, no single guys, when we want you, im sure we can find you without a problem.
So basically we need numbers as to wether this happens or not, you can either reply on here, or send us an email, we will need both face and top shots of people (or naughtier if you prefer) and phone numbers, obviously to weed out the fakers and timewasters.
Party would be near Guildford and bring your own beer (and lube lol) - also if people would be wanting to stay over we would need to know this for numbers as well.
We look forward to hearing from you biggrin

Well i hope you do at least do soft swing not sure what the single ladies are suppose to do other wise lol
Always interesting when someones very first post is inviting people to a party and asking for pics and phone numbers "to weed out the fakers and timewasters". No-one knows YOU! You could be anyone, what makes you think we should trust you to be who you say you are? A couple of pics doesn't really do it, I'm afraid.
Mal
PS - can you also confirm if there would be a charge for this 'party?'

All these conditions and you are still only at the 'thinking' stage of throwing a party ..... hmmmm .... pic collector here methinks.

Send them one of mine >> they will never come back lol
we arent pic collecters, theres plenty of pics on sites like yafro if we wanted pics, weve been on this site with an ad up for months and weve had a lot of guys pretending to be girls which is why we want numbers. it might be our first post but youve got to start somewhere!
And when we say thinking of throwing a party, that means if we get enough interest we will, as theres not really much point if only 1 couple is interested. so far we have one interested couple, so at the moment theres no party, with more fems or a few more couples there will be.
i think you should all be ashamed of yourselves, were a new couple starting off and so far weve had single guys pretending to be something theyre not and couples not showing up, and now when we try to organise a party we get scrutinised and judged by the so called "hardened swingers" who sound like they think theyre better than everyone else. all of these things are very offputting for us or hadnt you all thought of that. just remember next time that everyones different before you start throwing around your judgements

I have absolutely no reason to be ashamed. I based my post on the experience of the site and the type of post you have made. You need to consider that people travel a long way at great expense to attend parties and Munches and they will only do that if they know something about the organisers and have trust in them that
A) the party will actually take place and
B) they will enjoy it.
Hadn't YOU thought of that? Just YOU remember that WE are talking from experience, not an 'off the cuff', possible maybe party post. There's no direction or conviction about your post. No set date, no set numbers attending. If you want a successful party, this is not the way to go about organising it. Before you start firing off at others you might consider reading other 'party' posts and find out what makes a good party. In fact, why don't you attend someone elses's party to see if it is what you think it should be like. You may then realise that it isn't as straightforward as you think it is and that you have the mix of guests all wrong.
Basically get some experience before you start slating those who, in this case, actually DO know what they are talking about.
Mal
ooh, firing off again are you!
how can i set numbers if i dont know how many people are coming, sorry if im thinking that was the point of posting a message.
im more than aware of how to organise a party, and thats why ive stated "couples in surrey", so nobody has too much of an expense, all the couples that have replied to us know there is no set date yet till we have enough people, and were inviting people to stay here for the night if they wish - all of the details are e-mailed to them when they reply, this is just here to let young surrey couples know whats going on.
we have been invited to some other parties and we will be attending them.
just because i got some of the wording wrong in my advert you seem to think its ok to start firing off at me. its obvious you arent interested in attending this when it happens, and your probably out of the age bracket anyway, so why bother posting a message anyway, it seems to me, from my own experience, that youre just trying to put people off, well thanks a lot
Just to clarify this as I'm not going to spend too much time over you.
I'm one of the moderators of this site and I take umbrage when advice is offered and it is thrown back at me.
If you think it is big and clever to have a go at me, feel free, but be warned, you will be on thin ice and will lose, absolutely gauranteed.

ChrisandJen - you must understand that we get all sorts on here trying to get pics or a quick shag from saying they are organising a party.... I am not puting you in the same category as these idiots, just pointing out that newbies wanting to organise larger events are usually treated with some degree of suspicion. If you made some posts, joined in some of the discussions, and THEN went about organising a party, I'm sure you'd be more lucky.
I have organised a few house parties - below is the opening post advertising the first one I organised last year... there was no set date at the time, and the post was quite vague as I had not sorted out the details - like you I was assessing interest. The difference was, people responded positively to mine cos they know me.... that's the key.... there's no big clique here, no-one trying to keep you out or berate you, it is just a matter of making a few friends, just the same as would happen in real life... hope this helps, here is my party post from last year....
Posted: Fri Aug 20, 2004 4:55 pm Post subject: Blue's 33rd Birthday Party.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK folks, as some of you might have read in the cafe, it is my 33rd birthday next month
Satin and I are thinking of organising a house party to "celebrate" the occassion . We live in Chorley, which is Central Lancashire, near(ish) to M61 and M6 junctions. We're not sure about the date yet, but it will be a Saturday night. The date nearest my birthday is the 25th Sept, but that is the same date as the London Munch - would that make a difference? The next available date would be the 9th Oct.
Details of this party will only go out to forum members - details will not be posted in the photo ads or the chat room. Our house is quite small so numbers have to be limited.
This will be a sex party, I'm not going to try and bill it as anything else - although of course sex with me is not compulsory . The party will of course be free, just bring your own booze, condoms, toys etc etc
This post is just to see who is interested at this stage. Everyone who is known on the forum is invited, numbers permitted. It doesn't matter if you are straight, bi, gay, TV or whatever. Single guys are of course invited, but it would be nice to have some couples and single girls there too
If this sounds interesting, post on this thread. Please don't PM your interest at this stage as I'll forget who sent them - however, you can ask me questions by PM if you want to. Also, feel free to suggest the most appropriate date for you.
Watched this thread with some interest - as we are a couple that have so far replied to such party notices - but as yet failed to get an invite (albeit only two Applications). Both cases - not even a reply. Of course it might have been as we dont quite hit the mark as far as "stunningly young and attractive" (which we aint anymore) - but would have hoped for even a polite "no thanks".
The thing is - as we are "newbie" to all this - but want to dip our toes in the water - in a fun and relaxed scene - a party probably offers the most likely thing to try - but from some of the posts above - you need to have "registered" and posting a fair bit to get the invite.
Do party organisers review the posting history to assess invite potential ?

Yes I do, definately. I am giving a bunch of people practically free reign in my home for a whole night. I want to know that they are sensible enough not to take the piss out of my hospitality, steal my DVD player and PC when I'm asleep, or otherwise annoy me or my neighbours. Besides that, I organise parties so that EVERYONE has a good time. Inviting a dipstcik, who is, say, homophobic, would not go down too well in the circles in which I socialise. Anyone pushy, or otherwise offensive would most probably ruin an otherwise good night. People do not realise the responsibility that organising a party takes. They do not see the behind the scenes, "should I or should I not invite X, Y, and Z" and they do not see the amount of time spent actually at the party making sure people are OK.
It would be downright silly of me NOT to check people's posting history if I have never met them before. If I have only met them briefly before I would still check their posting history. People who are that new that they do not have a posting history would have NO CHANCE of getting an invite to one of my parties, sorry.

It wasn't a threat, it was a promise. As these people are no longer site members, this thread is locked.
