Well, to all those who turned up it was great to meet you all and put faces (rather than appendages) to names...lol...and those who couldn't make it maybe next time....
Special thanks to B @ C for inviting us back and letting us use the hot-tub what a way to finish the evening.
As expected the supposed 'organiser' didn't turn up a habit I believe he has having spoken to other couples who have arranged to meet him in the past. Yet another idiot single guy ruining it for the genuine ones out there....No doubt he will have some sort of feeble excuse !!!!!!

I just wanted to say how great it was meeting up with everyone who made the effort to come along last night. Was lovely meeting you all and I hope we get to do it again soon.
Such a shame the organiser couldnt be bothered to show his face though. But I'm not surprised considering the amount of stick he would receive.
I think we all need to come up with a good venue and organise it properly ourselves this time that way no one is left disappointed.

Im happy to do one my last one went great. I will sort one very soon for us all if everyone would like that. Give me a week or so to get over this holiday and will stick one up

Thx to all those that made the effort and were brave enough to turn up last night. It was great to meet up with a few of you. Sorry we had to leave a little early at to catch the train. Had the organisation been a little more concrete we would have made arrangements to stay out longer as we were having fun.

Good to meet up with those who turned up last night, everyone was really friendly and really surprisingly sussexborn failed to show his face? really can't understand what happened there..... not! 
Roll on the next one without certain people who aren't as genuine as they would have us believe.

I am glad that some of you at least managed to meet up and have a good time. It is very disappointing that the "Organiser" (and I use that term loosely) didn't turn up and has not bothered to post in here since, despite having been online only 3 hours ago!!
This was an accident waiting to happen, but alas, there is nothing in the AUP about banning people for being unable to organise a piss-up in a brewery. I would hope that he would not insult anyone by trying to arrange another social and will leave it to someone that has an ounce of common sense instead!! :roll: :roll:

:thumbup: i spoke to sussexborn on here on sat at about 6 pm, he advised me not to go saying he thought i wouldnt like it after, this was after i had questioned him about the place, i got the feeling he had never booked anything and just picked this place out of a hat so well said sgt bilko, So can someone organise one properly and soon, maybe not so far in town so we can park a bit more easily

Hi, Well as some of you know I have done one and it wasnt in the town. There was a few that turned up also. Some can vouch for me on that. I dont mind organising one at all as its very simple.
I will have a think today and stick one up later as I would like to have a few drinks and meet some more people and the old ones. Not calling you old guys

I will call it the Brighton/Hove Social.
Right better go have this bath as been cleaning all day and then i will make a cupa and sandwich and have a look on some dates

I was at a previous social organised by Blue Ocean and I was sure that I would recognise someone in or around the place, but I didn't.
