As some of you may have seen a little of me on here is was wondering if there were any couples or ladies in the midlands area who might want to meet up for a drink just to get to know me a little better. biggrin
As the title says i expect nothing from this other than to meet up have a chat/laugh and let some of you get to know me and me to get to know you. wave kiss
If you would then please pm me and we can arrange a time and a place to suit.
Matt

Wooooooohooooooo Midlandsman!!
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Will be a great night ........ you got your dress ups planned????
Oh and Frogster ............................................... smackbottom
Not yet, have to think about that 1 for a while but i got plenty of time !!! what you goin as?? :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
I think my outfit is gonna take some planning ....... unfortunately the only costumes I have here is a Spider one (made for daughter last halloween, bluddy funny, but not very medieval rolleyes ) and a swimming costume (again not very medieval confused although if I can borrow Celticq's pink floral swimmin hat, it would be a bit closer to that era lol ). Even a combination of the two, giant spider in a swimming costume is still quite a way off the mark. So gonna have to think on this one a bit more
A search of the websites, for ideas, is needed I think - but so far all I've come up with is how to make a hat from a piece of newspaper :?
Misschief - already in danger of looking ridiculous rather than regal and medieval
I think if i went medieval id end up looking like sid james in carry on henry, i havent got a clue what to wear for this at the moment, doesn't exactly fall in line with my navy whites or the other outfits ive worn before. I suppose i'll have to settle for court jester in the end. Maybe wear a dirty loin cloth a few chains and come as the old guy in the dungeon!!!
sorry totally off topic MM but as this has slightly wandered into a convo about what to wear to the banquet - MISSCHIEF you might like to know that I picked up a Medieval Princess Hat in Asda this week and the best bit is it got flashing lights on it  Very in Keeping with the period - when combined with my my Mermaid/LittleRedRidingHood combo its going to look great
Are you sayin that i should go as a princess? Do you think that would do me any favours dunno i think i prefer the sid james. confused
OMG CQ!!!!
rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
OMG I needed that laugh tonight!!
Sounds bluddy fantastic CQ!!!!!! Wasn't laughing at you honest, you will look an absolute dream and very medieval I'm sure ........ in a flashing mermaidy type way confused Yes, you wear that, you will look a complete princess, go for it cool
Midlandsmale, yep, I think Sid James will look mighty fine and v. medieval. Definitely go as that I say - maybe pop to Asda like CQ has done and see if you can pick up some bits and bobs? Surely they must have their xmas decs on sale now! rolleyes you can pick up some nice tinsel and some nice felt fabrics - go for it!
Misschief - safe in the knowledge that at least two people will look dafter than her :rotflmao:
