Today is the day - The Wigan Mini-Munch

At long last the Wigan 'Mini' Munch has now been arranged!

This will take place on Saturday, 4th December 2004 at a venue just outside of Wigan Town Centre. FREE Admission will be by invite only and is open to all 'Wigganers' and any 'Adopted Wigganers'
Naughty Wigan Couple and Dave and Mandy will be collecting details of everyone who wants to attend but please only pm one of us.
Details of the venue will be pm'd to you all a couple days before the event. The venue is within easy travelling distance of the Motorway, the train station and has its own parking facilities. Details of local Hotels will also be e-mailed to anyone who would like to stay over in the Wigan area (but if your all from Wigan, then you won't need an hotel).
We will have access to our very own bar and a music system. However, if there is a good DJ out there who would be willing to offer their services free of charge, then your name is top of the list!
Come on all you Pie8ers, you've been whinging about a munch for long enough, get your fingers typing and put your names on the list!

we will send out the invite to you by pm and the venue etc will be posted by pmto you a couple of days before if you get a pm please do not pass on the venue to anyone else as we don't want any gate crashers only 70 people are allowed in the room so come on and get pm, ing
this is a free event no fees whatsoever

Anybody know of a reasonable place to stay in the area? It's too far for a cab and I certainly aint gonna be sober enough to drive home. drinkies

Details of the venue etc will be sent nearer to the time and a list of hotels/accommodation is being drawn up at the moment (especially for Midlands man who wants to share with his adopted Mam and Dad - he said it, not me)

Waddy look under "terminology" on left hand side, a munch is a gathering in a vanilla environment, its a place to say hi and meet like minded people have a drink and a chat.

come on all you wiganers(and non wiganers ) get your names down on the list for the mini munch
we don't want people to think we wiganers don't know how to have a good time
still loads of places up for grabs :bounce: :bounce:
its only a social meet no pressures or anything just a good way to meet some of the people who you chat to or read their posts
its nice to put a face to a person you have never met and have a few :cheers:

I think people are a bit slow to come forward as they think it is for Wiganers only
