After the success of the last Essex Social, it has been decided to do it on the 21st October, as it seems it does not conflict with too many other parties (sorry HT3 xxx), and is exactly 6 weeks from the last one lol
NEW VENUE FOR THIS SOCIAL
We have bagged a great new venue!!
The venue will be in North Essex, the venue is fantastic, and will allow everybody the chance to feel young again and let thier hair down. It has its own soft drinks bar so for those not drinking alcohol this will be a blessing! It also has its own dance floor and sound system together with the full run of the place, so its time to recapture your youth
The venue is completely blacked out, and has both an indoor and outdoor areas (so hopefully it will be a warm nite). It also has its own private parking and is located on a large industrial estate, so it is very private!!!
It is no more than an hour from Basildon/Braintree/harlow/Romford/Braintree/ipswich/bury st eds etc so is easy to get too for everybody
With this in mind, it has been decided to run this event as a bit of a fancy dress affair (not obligatory) and the theme will be school days!!! so girls get your black skirts and white blouses out, pigtails are an option lol. Boys the obligitory shorts or dark trousers etc.... and i am sure for the more dominant, there is always the headmaster/mistress look, just dont think about administering the cane to me... I might bite lol
To help with the running costs, a small charge of £1 per head will be charged, but this is easily offset, because it is bring a bottle (or two :D ) for those who wish to drink.
As a foot note to the venue, It is STRICTLY a non-smoking venue (outside is obviously OK), and this is a social, so please do not think that this venue is any different than a public bar etc, as we have to think of the owners generosity etc.
Also we are currently in negotiation with a caravan park locally to see if we can get a deal for accomodation, It seems that we may be able to get a short (fri/sat) break for around £30, and the single nite for a bit less, so for those staying maybe we can continue socialising into the wee small hours.... The prices etc are as yet to be confirmed, but this will be shortly!!!
The last social was a roaring success with approx 60 attendees, so maybe this will be even better.
pass the word around. Just so single males are aware, you will be invited on a first cum first served basis, but it is limited to 1 male to 1 cpl or single fem, this is not to stop anybody from coming, but ensures a healthy mixture of people. the only other way will be if you are recommended by a couple attending the social
