virus knocking around ******WARNING******

Hi guys sorry if u have been infected by me, a virus came into me yesterday got through my anti virus and send email to all contacts in msn. Email has a 7k file size i was sent it by a friend on hear . if u see syamantec checking outgoing emails when ur not sending email ur most probably infected
I had to go to dowload the new norton antivirus trial software
Load the software
reboot in to safe mode ( pressing the f8 key when ur computer boots up)
run norton anti virus in safe mode
this will get rid of the virus

Think I've just been sent it (not off you though) Subject was 'Important' and it was a 7kb file.. from an address I don't know. I deleted it without opening the attatchment coz it seemed suspicious.

On the subject there is a different virus has various titles all short and pointless but file sizes are 35k and 41k often zip files. I haven't been infected but have recieved it about 30 times(no exageration) on my address.

I'll second what Dirk says. Have used AVG for several years without any problems, and it gives you regular up-dates, all at no cost whatsoever.
