A munch is a purely social event held in a totally neutral environment, often somewhere like a pub, where members of Swinging Heaven get to meet each other. As there's no play involved everyone can relax which gives newbies a chance to ask questions of the more experienced without any fear of getting jumped on, and gives the regulars time to catch-up with old friends and make new ones.

Lisa I assume you are not referring to the caps lock portion as I see you are now in sentence case smile

Its probably a bit complicated to explain here, but I am likely to be in Norwich soon and if you join our small gathering that night I will try to develop your understanding. Lets just say don't lose any sleep over it for now, and I will practice recalling the tale in the meantime so it sounds worth waiting for.

Found it at last (I bet Dargento has beat me to it)
It refers to the Leicester munch, I had sadly left for my B&B by this point but a post on th thread reveals that the tickle of the weekend was Happy cats sleeping in the camper van only to be told that his hotel was 3 mins walk from the venue, when he woke and thought he had to travel miles to find it................. opps Another refers to his face as being priceless when he discovered. He's a good bloke, so I'm sure he wont mind us recalling this amusing event, I wish I had stayed to see it. lol

Don't know much about Munches, Munching, or Suffolk - but please, lisamike - please - keep posting.
